The Joint Commission Public Notice
The Joint Commission will conduct unannounced accreditation surveys of Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc, beginning January 1, 2008.
The purpose of these surveys will be to evaluate the organization’s compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, an accreditation should be awarded to Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc.
Individuals reporting a complaint may provide their name and contact information, or may remain anonymous. Providing a name and contact information enables The Joint Commission to inform the individual about actions taken in response to the complaint, and allow The Joint Commission to contact them for additional information if needed. It is The Joint Commission’s policy to treat a persons name as confidential information and not to disclose it to any other party. However, it may be necessary to share the complaint with the compliance office of the Jessie Trice Community Health Center in the course of a complaint investigation. In addition, Joint Commission policy forbids accredited organizations from taking retaliatory actions against patients or employees for having reported quality of care concerns to The Joint Commission.
